GED preparation should be organized by subject, not treated as one large test. The GED has four separate subject tests: Mathematical Reasoning, Reasoning Through Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. Each subject requires a different study method.
Start with the subject that blocks progress most. Math needs method practice. RLA needs reading, writing, and evidence. Social Studies needs interpretation of civic and historical information. Science needs data reading and basic scientific reasoning.
